Release of the Week: Chrono Trigger
Black Friday is finally upon us all. The opening of the holiday Christmas season in a troubled economy means that instead of buying bigger TVs and a super powered audio system, shoppers will be eying video games as a possible alternative. Unfortunately, this week does not bring in the list of blockbusters we have seen from previous weeks.
The good news is that yet another old school classic has been ported into a new travel sized edition. The classic RPG Chrono Trigger is being released this week on the Nintendo DS. Calling the game a classic is probably a bit of an understatement, as it is arguably one of the greatest RPGs of all time. As it has been over 13 years since the initial release it would be a good time to catch up on your video game history if you missed it.
Luckily, the game is being released tomorrow. This gives you plenty of time to play it while traveling to see family on Thanksgiving and should help make waiting in Black Friday lines a little easier. And with 14 possible endings it should last you all the way through the Holidays. Oh, they just don’t make em like they used to.
