Dammit Game of the Week: Puzzle Bobble (Bust-a-Move)
I really need to put a reminder to do this crap on my calendar. If Grundy hadn’t reminded me, I wouldn’t have remembered and you all would be without your awesome retro Dammit Game this week. So, in honor of him actually remembering something, I present Puzzle Bobble (Bust-A-Move). Many hours… and countless amounts of laundry money were feed into the Bust-A-Move machine at our college’s pizza place.
The flash version looks just like the classic Taito game. Even the annoying music is there. The controls are very simple. Left and right arrows for, you guessed it, left and right and space or up arrow to launch the bubble. Simple, but at the same time frustrating. It’s very hard to pinpoint the launcher with the arrow keys. Many of my bubbles went awry.
For the last few weeks, one level has been the bane of my existence… Which I’m happy to say, I beat it in class today and then found another to take its place. It’s a fun game that brings back the memories from college of burnt pizza and dirty laundry. So if you’re missing those days give it a try.
