Upcoming: Amazed Edition
Last week was a series of amazing events all at once. First of all, our own Jimmy the Greek has inspired 21 comments on his article from last thursday. That has got to be some sort of a record, at least for Random Gamer. The other big shock of last week was my first hands on time with Killzone 2. Though the gameplay seems fairly bland thus far, the appreance and delivery are off the charts. I am about a third of the way through it and I can tell that this may be what the PlayStation 3 needs to put it on the map. Expect a review to come as soon as I can get the time to finish it!
Another surprising source of amazement has been at the hands of Street Fighter IV. I was not expecting to have the money to purchase it, so I had reserved my disappointment to settling for a trade at a later date. Fortunately, after a particularly tough day at the office, I came home and fired up my 360, to already find the game sitting in the tray. It seems that my amazing wife had heard about my plight and had set about to make me feel a little better. Boy, I am one lucky guy. Needless to say, I have been playing it to death, along with a shockingly amusing game on the Xbox Live Community Games, Bricks4Ever. I highly recommend it and couldn’t imagine a better use of $2.50.
